As a curly girl, I get it. I’ve spent years enduring traumatic haircuts, trying to find the confidence to be the biggest hair in the room, and crying in the bathroom for what felt like hours just detangling. That’s why I chose to become a hairstylist—and specifically one who specializes in such a unique niche. My name is Pretty! I’m originally from the cold and snowy state of Minnesota, but I moved to San Diego the moment I graduated high school with nothing but two suitcases and dreams of something more. I’m a big car enthusiast & certified mechanic, a self-proclaimed coffee snob, proud cat mom to a five-year-old tabby named Jelly, and I might be slightly addicted to Diet Coke… I could genuinely talk for hours! My goal is to heal hair trauma and instill confidence in as many curlies as I possibly can. I truly believe every single haircut is special and intimate. I personally value every step of your curl journey, and I cannot wait to start ours!
